Home Canteen (Aarthi was started home canteen with help of her mother at Ramanagara)

Home Canteen, Self employed Arathi is Cerebral Palsy & Intellectual Disability, walks with the help of a walker. She underwent prevocational & skill development training under F & B domain at SiA, Ramanagara for 2 years. Her parents arranged the transportation facility to attend the training. SiA involved the parent to support learn the skill during training period.

Arathi showed interest & learnt many skills in F & B domain. Because of her mobility parents are planned to start a self-employment like home canteen for her livelihood. Aarthi was started home canteen with help of her mother at Ramanagara.

Her task include cleaning the kitchen and dining area before and after every meal, washing and chopping of vegetables into different shapes. She serves everyday meals to surrounding people and other employees nearby her location.
